It is a one stop shop for petrol, servicing , repairs and car sales. ......................................................................................................................... H.J Taylor was founded in 1928 as a two pump petrol site and workshop. By the 1930's it had 4 working petrol pumps, a workshop and had started selling cars. In 1948 German prisoners of war helped build the workshop opposite the pumps. Today H.J Taylor is a thriving business selling petrol and used cars. They also service and repair cars in the workshop. At H.J Taylor the petrol is still pumped by an attendant (no self service here!) Old fashioned courtesy and customer service are the order of the day at H.J Taylor.
